Motorcycles are used around the world as a mode of transportation. They are also considered quite badass. Motorcycle users are consistent portrayed in mass media as modes of transportation for people living on the edge. They are everywhere in popular culture.

Torque is a movie made for motorcycle fans. While it may not feature A list actors. it remains a solid and straightforward movie, one that is always entertaining. It is filled with stereotypes, but the movie remains entirely entertaining. It, in fact, adds to its charm. It does feature some mild inconsistencies, such as cars that are faster than motorcycles. Motorcycle enthusiasts will find certain parts inherently amusing, such as when Harleys go faster than smaller bikes. There are more technical mistakes, but it remains entertaining. It helps that Monet Mazure is easy on the eyes.

Biker Boyz is another brilliant motorcycle movie and the first one to feature the Hayabusa. Unfortunately, they were not officially sponsored, which prevents the script from referring to the vehicles by their actual names. It is an interesting movie. The actors do their best with what they are given, but some scripts are so weak that no amount of acting could save it. It is filled with predictable twists and turns. The lead character, played by Lawrence Fishbourne, rides the Hayabusa. It has a few bloopers, but like Torque, remains an exciting movie.

The James Bond movie franchise also involves a number of memorable bike scenes. The franchise is famous for its cars, such as the Aston Martin, but 007 has also used various bikes. These bikes include the KT100 and the RS1200.

Motorcycles can also make an appearance in science fiction, though not necessarily in the way most people will see it. The Star Wars series, for example, has a few examples. Return of the Jedi involved speeder-bikes. These bikes are their equivalent of motorcycles. They are even used in a similar manner. Of course, they hover, but they still count. The Phantom Menace also involves motorcycles. Darth Maul is clearly using a high-tech motorcycle when he first arrives on Tatooine.
